Medical Visits

New patient visits are scheduled by calling 253.503.8792. Follow-up visits can also be scheduled online via the Athena online portal.

Dr. Zech sees patients virtually via telemedicine at Puget Sound Family Health.

Your first appointment is for Dr. Zech to get to know you. Prior to your visit, she will review any available health records to become familiar with the cancer diagnosis and any past and present treatments. During the visit you will be able to discuss your specific health concerns, take a more detailed medical history, and review prescribed medicines and treatments. She may also order additional bloodwork to be reviewed at a future visit.

The initial visit is an opportunity for Dr. Zech to get a more complete understanding of your physical and mental wellbeing in order to tailor a holistic approach to treating your unique health needs.

Village Medicine does bill to insurance. Insurance can be billed only if you are seeing Dr. Zech through Village Medicine. You can read more here.

Dr. Zech is network with Premera, Regence, Lifewise, First Choice, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Bridgespan and Kaiser Permanente (only Kaiser plans that utilize the First Choice Health Network)

She is out of network with United Healthcare, Cigna, United, Medicare, and Medicaid plans. For these plans we can provide reimbursement forms and a receipt, which can be submitted to insurance by the patient.

Please note: If insurance is not accepted, cash options are available (see below).

Unfortunately, herbal supplements and nutriceutals are not covered by most major insurance plans. You may be able to use your flexible or health savings account to cover some of these costs. Contact your insurance for specific details.
